It is a two-day conference held in Monterrey for the purpose of showcasing Mexico as an attractive investment destination and to generate momentum for the country’s emerging venture capital industry.

Day one will be a “deal day” in which investors will have the opportunity to hear presentations by top entrepreneurs in the region (register a project). The day will also include the presentation of an M&A paper with an update on transactions taking place in Mexico.  Selected business cases will be discussed to provide insight into what makes a successful exit in the country. The networking opportunities during day one will include several breaks to mingle and discuss opportunities with other attendees, lunch with a keynote speaker, and an evening cocktail event.

Day two will be a unique policy day in which industry leaders, economists, policymakers and venture capitalists participate on panels to discuss topics including:  The Current Investment Climate in Mexico; Requirements to Build a Venture Capital Industry in Mexico; Next Steps for Unlocking Mexico’s Potential; and Accelerating Entrepreneurship and Investment Opportunities in Mexico.

A highlight of day two will be an opening keynote address by an executive of a leading global technology company.  Conference attendees will also enjoy comments from the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico and the President of Tecnologico de Monterrey.
